The Art of The Psalms (Psalm 68)

*a note from the editor

One of the groups at the Rock is a monthly get together called Bible In A Year. The group originally started as people who wanted to read the Bible cover to cover over a calendar year (I guess the clue is in the name!) After that first year the group has continued to meet but taking their reading of the Bible at a less intense pace with two or three books of the Bible being explored each month. For the past few months they have also been taking a psalm each to explore and creatively interpret. I joined them last month and saw some of Patricia's artwork and asked if she would be ever so kind to allow us to share it on the blog....and she was ever so kind, so here is one of her pieces.

'Cloud Rider' (Mixed Media on Card)

Psalm 68:32-35
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, who thunders with mighty voice. Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the heavens. You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.

Praise be to God!
